Gosford Oak Chestnut Table

Crafted from Scottish hardwoods felled on Gosford Estate, East Lothian. Principally we use Scottish oak, elm, ash and sweet chestnut in combination to create unique one of pieces. We focus, primarily, on bringing out the beauty of the wood emphasising the texture, grain, and colour. In most cases we will only make one-piece solid tops for dining tables. This means the  trees we use will be a minimum of  200 - 300 years old. The trees we use are always wind blown, not felled, so the number of tables we can produce with Gosford Estate timber is very limited. The first trees were planted on the estate in 1755 so each table top is a time capsule of the history of the estate from then to now and preserved for future generations in these beautiful tables.

Prices start from £2800 for a table 2.4m long  X  800 mm

Please note dining tables usually take 2 months to turnaround from start to finish. There is normally a waiting list for these very unique table tops which are limited supply.
